The First Yes Was Just the Beginning
Saying yes to God’s call didn’t eliminate the setbacks. In fact, year one brought plenty of them. Challenges we didn’t anticipate. Delays that tested patience. Days when doubt felt louder than hope.
But we showed up.
We reminded ourselves that obedience isn’t always about perfection or big results—it’s about faithfulness. It’s about showing up, staying consistent, and trusting that God will multiply the work we commit to Him.
Why Year One Matters
Year one is rarely glamorous. It’s grit, growth, and groundwork. It’s long nights, hard conversations, and moments of surrender.
But year one matters—because there is no year two without year one.
And if we’ve learned anything, it’s this: the seeds planted in this season will bear fruit in ways we can’t yet see. So we celebrate—not just the victories, but the faith it took to start at all.
What God Has Done
As we look back, we see God’s hand in every part of the journey:
First Devotional Launched: “21 Days to Discovering Your Identity as a Child of God”
This year we launched our very first devotional—a 21-day journey designed to help individuals stop striving for identity through performance and start resting in who God says they already are.
Each day includes Scripture, a short reflection, and powerful questions to help readers deepen their understanding of their identity in Christ. It’s been a foundational resource for many, and we pray it continues to awaken hearts to the truth of being fully known and fully loved by God.
32 Blog Posts—and Counting
Each post was crafted to speak truth, spark reflection, and encourage progress. Whether tackling identity, mindset, relationships, or resilience, we stayed committed to one goal: helping you grow with perspective, purpose, and peace.
Everything DiSC: From Workshop to Partnership
This year, we had the privilege of:
Facilitating an Everything DiSC Workshop with church staff to enhance communication and teamwork
Partnering with Wiley and becoming an Authorized Partner and Certified Practitioner in Everything DiSC
Equipping leaders with tools to better understand themselves and others
We believe greater self-awareness and relational insight can transform both the workplace and ministry environments—and we’re just getting started.
Conflict Resolution with a Purpose
We were honored to facilitate a successful conflict resolution process with a nonprofit organization this year. It was a beautiful reminder that with the right guidance, prayerful presence, and a commitment to unity, even the most difficult conversations can lead to healing and restoration.
Resilience: Coming Soon
Behind the scenes, we’ve been hard at work on a brand-new online course focused on Resilience. All the videos are filmed, the content is built—and we can’t wait to launch it soon. This course will be designed to help you bounce back from adversity.
None of this was possible in our own strength. Every step was marked by grace, provision, and a growing understanding of our mission.
And Now, We Keep Going
We take a deep breath, give thanks, and then we return to the work—refreshed in purpose, renewed in commitment.
Because this isn’t about us.
It’s about helping individuals and teams live with clarity, resilience, and purpose. It’s about becoming who God created us to be. It’s about transformation—from the inside out.
So here’s to year one.
And here’s to the work ahead.
With gratitude and expectancy,
Jay Poland
