The P2 Resilience course is built around the Sailboat Metaphor, a powerful framework for understanding how different aspects of life influence your ability to move forward. In this metaphor, the boat represents your life, with elements such as values, strengths, weaknesses, emotions, relationships, and goals working together to determine your journey. You are the captain—responsible for where you focus your attention, how you interpret events, what motivates you, and the actions you take. The course is designed around these four “captain elements”—attention, thoughts, motivation, and action—because strengthening them directly enhances your resilience. Through guided reflection, practical exercises, and workbook activities, you’ll learn how to interact with each element intentionally, steering toward a life that is both meaningful and fulfilling.
