6 Session Course Overview


The P2 Resilience course is a six-session journey designed to help you strengthen your ability to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and purpose.

  • Session 1 – The Sailboat: Learn the Sailboat Metaphor and its eight elements, exploring how each represents different aspects of life. Begin envisioning yourself as the “ideal captain” steering through challenges.

  • Session 2 – Mastering Attention: Discover how to direct your attention intentionally, interrupt negativity bias, and cultivate a positive focus to boost well-being.

  • Session 3 – The Power of Thoughts: Understand the connection between thoughts and feelings, and practice strategies like reappraisal, benefit-finding, and optimism to build resilience.

  • Session 4 – Motivation to Push Forward: Identify your core values, connect them to your motivation, and learn how to live in alignment with them even during difficult times.

  • Session 5 – Effective Coping: Explore a variety of coping strategies, assess which are most helpful, and learn how to balance action with acceptance for greater resilience.

  • Session 6 – The Resilience Plan: Bring it all together by creating a personalized resilience plan that integrates attention, thoughts, motivation, and action to guide you now and in the future.
